Our Annual Showcase of Dance!
Join Northwest Dance Theatre and specially invited friends to celebrate the beauty of dance. This eclectic offering will include a variety of numbers from ballet to jazz to modern to hip hop. Featured is the classic ballet La Bayadere, Petipa's evocation of exotic India set to music by Minkus. Contemporary works include Fascinating Rhythm by guest choreographer Thorey Mountain, MAC Dancers Artistic Director Laura Haney's new work Follow the Leader, and offering by Deeply Rooted Dance Theatre choreographer Shantelle Jackson: a tribute to children who have experienced death and violence in their schools. Don't miss this wide-ranging showcase of dance.
